threa_cancel() থ্রেড আইডি দ্বারা একটি নির্দিষ্ট থ্রেড বাতিল করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এই ফাংশনটি সমাপ্তির জন্য থ্রেডে একটি বাতিলকরণের অনুরোধ পাঠায়। pthread_cancel() এর সিনট্যাক্স নিচের মত −
